1976 Piper PA-18 Super Cub (N54933). Fully rebuilt in 2004, this classic taildragger is in excellent condition with a fresh annual completed in August 2024. Features include a 2000 lb gross weight increase for enhanced utility and performance. A solid backcountry performer ready to fly!

Airframe:
Installed new Univair fuselage with weld on float fittings, X-brace in the skylight, 180 lb baggage supports, seat belts attach brackets, extended baggage supports, and tail section reinforcements. Sandblasted and primed with zinc enriched powder coat and black finish coat. Assembled fuselage using all new floorboards, control cables, trim system, fuel system, headliner, extended baggage, battery installation, under seat storage, interior side panels, side access baggage door, throttle quadrant, boot cowl and all windows. Installed square instrument panel with all new switches, circuit breakers, and wiring. New seat belts and shoulder harnesses. New tach, airspeed, VSI, oil pressure/temperature, EGT, CHT, volt/amp meter, turn coordinator, and compass.
Engine/Prop:
New Lycoming O-360-C4P 180 HP engine with new engine mount rubber bushings, all bolts, baffling, complete exhaust system, airbox, air filter, oil cooler, all hoses, Sky-Tec starter, B&C alternator and B&C oil filter adapter. Installed new McCauley 1A200/FA8241 propeller (S/N YB46006), bolts, spinner, and fiberglass cowling. All controls were rigged for full travel and saftied. The aircraft was assembled and rigged I.A.W. Piper service information and applicable STC instructions. The completed aircraft was weighed and equipment list and weight and balance report was completed. New Tanis engine preheater system.
Interior/Exterior:
Wings were assembled with all new parts I.A.W. Cub Crafters STC using wing jig to tram and set washout. The wings were extended for the use of fiberglass wing tips, long ailerons, and extended range fuel tanks. New ailerons were extended and fit to the wings. The entire aircraft was covered with Stits fabric through silver and finish color is Ditzler Durathane DUHS 808 White and DUHS 72356 Red. Installed new 3″ extended landing gear, hydrasorb assemblies, bungee cords, shock covers, 26×10.5×6 tires and tubes, brake booster master cylinders, and safety cables using all new hardware and lines. Installed new 2-bolt tailwheel assembly with 1-3/4″ tailwheel spring. New square elevator and stabilizers were installed using all new tube liners.
Installed wings with HD sealed struts (No Ads apply), extended range fuel tanks, new flaps, extended ailerons, fiberglass wing tips, strobe lights, drooping aileron system, and new control cables.
